The overall project involved the provision, alteration and adaptation of the client's property portfolio to meet changed operational requirements. The total project involved 60 locations with an area of 3,000,000 ft² (279,000m²).
This included the provision of new buildings on existing sites, converting existing non office buildings into fully conditioned offices, space planning, refurbishing extending and adapting existing premises to meet the specific needs of the proposed occupiers. Due to operational constraints this had to occur within a twenty month period and generally with staff in-situ. The project included the alteration and conversion of 15 office buildings and warehouses - over 600,000 ft² (55,750m²) - in total) throughout the home counties, midlands and the north to create call handling and back up facilities with fully integrated I.T. systems and comfort conditioned environments capable of operating 24 hours per day 365 days per year.
