The redevelopment of a segment of the town to provide a key mixed use development, providing 250,000 ft² (23,200m²) of retail units over two levels, car parking, over 500 residential units (with 40% affordable provision), an office element and council drop-in centre. Town Centre upgrades include high street pedestrianisation, extension to the adjacent park (including providing a children's play area) and an extension to town centre ring road.
