Fulham Island is high, quality, new build, mixed use development with underground parking. The development consists of 22 apartments, restaurant, offices and shops. Designed by signature architect Piers Gough, it won a Commendation for Best Apartment Building in the National Homebuilder Design Awards.
A key feature of the building is its façade of buff and multi coloured bricks - a modern twist on the Victorian tradition of patterned brickwork. Combined with the pastel-blue corner office building and more flats above the shops in two blocks of restored buildings, the development reflects the original character of this part of Fulham.
