Reorganisation of Tower and Perry Library.
The reorganisation of floors 3 to 8 of the tower to upgrade the building to meet the requirements of the Department of Construction and to make the building compliant with the requirements of the DDA regulations and current fire regulations.
The reorganisation and upgrading of the Perry Library to enable it to absorb the introduction of materials and student users resulting from the closure of the Wandsworth Road Library. The reorganisation also had to incorporate the upgrades necessary to meet current requirements of the DDA regulations and fire regulations. The library continued to function throughout the upgrade and reorganisation process.
Modernisation of Edric Hall.
A review of the implications of the proposal to re-organise and modernise the existing Edric Hall to create a facility capable of being independently accessed for public performances. The project included the enabling works to provide a new entrance with lift and stair connections to the first floor ticket hall, renewal of the theatre technical provisions, insertion of new performance and rehearsal space and gallery seating.
